The heavy rains that followed the central region for the fifth day resulted in three deaths per day yesterday, all counting as 15.

Eleven are still missing.

In Hongseong, South Chungcheong Province yesterday, there were accidents during the restoration process, such as a man in his 70s who had cleared the soil in front of the barn and crashed into the river with his heavy equipment.

In the metropolitan area, Gangwon, and Chungbuk, the number of displaced people has increased significantly.

The total number of victims so far numbered is 1,555, of which about 450 have returned to their homes, but more than 1,100 have yet to return.

41 roads and underpasses and 6 rail lines are still under control, but it will take some time to fully recover.
