The government has decided to revamp the'Byeoljeong Post Office' system, which has been pointed out as hiring relatives and buying magic.

The Post Office said yesterday (3rd) that it had submitted a'Amendment to the Post Office Act' to the Provisional Assembly held last month.

The Byeoljeong Post Office was established in 1961 to install one post office per town or town.It started in the form of consignment work with government offices at individual expense. Changed to a structure.

Out of 3,429 post offices nationwide as of May, about 21% of them are designated post offices. And 687 of them, 95%, are located in Eup and Myeon.

The problem started to flare up in 2011 when the auditors' audit results came out.

Immediately after being designated, the Byeoljeong Post Office becomes a sixth-level public official, who can take over the job as a chief and can nominate a relative or acquaintance as the chief if no family is available. However, as a result of the audit, it was found that 294 cases in which the child or spouse succeeded in the second position as the second generation and 133 cases in succession to the fourth generation.

In addition, the issue of'Magic Magic' of the right of the special post office was also pointed out. When I investigated 30 people who were recommended by the postmaster, 15 of them were found to have provided money and money, and there were cases each year when both of them were enrolled as stars of the special post office to place their children as directors.

To this end, the Friendship Business Headquarters and the Byeoljeongguk Central Association formed a'Byeoljeong Post Office Innovation Task Force (TF)' consisting of 10 people from both sides to improve. They said that they plan to abolish the designated succession and recommendation supervisory system and prepare an improvement plan that includes compensation for the existing director and the conversion of employees to hiring when the post office is abolished.
