Google has announced new phones on its blog: the Pixel 4a, the Pixel 4a 5G and the Pixel 5. The devices are again officially not released in the Netherlands.

The Pixel 4a was already expected. Google previously hinted at the arrival of the phone. It is a cheaper version of the previously released Pixel 4. The Pixel 4a costs 340 euros in the German store. He does not officially appear in the Netherlands.

The Pixel 4a has an OLED screen of 5.8 inches with a resolution of 1080p. For the first time, a Pixel phone has a virtually borderless design. The front camera is incorporated in a hole in the top left corner of the screen. The device has 6 GB of RAM and offers 128 GB of storage space. That is the same as that of the Pixel 4. The same applies to the 12 megapixel camera on the back.

However, the battery has become larger. The device is equipped with a 3,140 mAh battery. For comparison, the Pixel 4 had a 2,800 mAh battery. Furthermore, the phone has a headphone jack and a Snapdragon 730 processor. The device runs on Android 10 and will be released on August 20.
