There are heavy fires in the country due to heavy rain today (2nd), such as the disappearance of firefighters dispatched to the torrential rains as if the sky had been opened.

In Sancheok-myeon, Chungcheongbuk-do, a firefighter disappeared due to the loss of a road in the heavy rain, and a 56-year-old woman died as a landslide or Tosa hit a nearby barn in a mountain in Anseong-myeon, Chungju. Two people are missing.

Even in Jecheon-si, North Chungcheong Province, the pavilion failed to tolerate heavy rains and collapsed, and the creek was so large that the roads were blocked and the residents evacuated to the town hall.

The damage continued in Anseong, Gyeonggi-do. Pensions and vehicles were locked in the earth and sand, and people were isolated. The paddy field was swept away by heavy rain, and the plastic house was also submerged.

In Yeongwol-gun, Gangwon-do, landslides occurred in the immediate vicinity of highways, and restoration work was underway.

Currently,'heavy alarm' has been put into effect all over the country including Seoul, Gyeonggi, Chungbuk, and Gangwon. Due to the impact of the typhoon'Earth fit', it is expected that heavy rains will continue in the central region for the time being.
