Yes, I am now on the Gunnam Dam of the Imjin River.

There was a heavy rain from here in the morning, after which it rained and stopped, and now it is in a state of slack.

The Imjin River Gunnam Dam releases 7 of the 13 floodgates and discharges the water. When it usually does not rain, it discharges about 30 tons per second. Currently, it discharges about 700 tons per second.

As rain continues in the northern part of Gyeonggi Province, we plan to open the floodgates higher and release from 900 to 1500 tons.

Due to the rain that continued in the morning, the water level of Pilseunggyo in the northernmost part of the Imjin River has risen to 1.6m beyond the evacuation level of 1m.

As a result, Gyeonggi-do sent a disaster message to nearby residents to evacuate around the river around 2:10 am today.

The level of the Biryong Bridge, located downstream of the Imjin River, is also about 2.2m, and has risen more than twice the usual level.

As rain in the northern part of Gyeonggi Province caused by the rainy season continues to pour, the level of rivers in the nearby river may rise suddenly, so safety seems necessary.
