Currently, the rainy areas are Chungcheong and Honam.

In particular, in some areas of Honam, such as Gochang, Sunchang, and Jeongeup, there is a strong rain of up to 20mm per hour.

As a result, heavy rain warnings have been given to Jeonbuk and Jeonnam Gurye, Chungnam Geumsan and Chungbuk Yeongdong.

The Korea Meteorological Administration predicted that until today (31st), a strong rain would continue around Chungcheong and Honam regions.

Estimated precipitation will be at least 150 mm from 50 in the south and north of Chungcheong and northern Jeonnam, and 30 to 80 mm in the north and south of Chungcheong and inland of Gyeongnam and Gyeongbuk.

The Meteorological Administration predicted that after the rain, the southern region would begin the rainy season and begin a full-scale heat wave.

Accordingly, the heat wave warning is issued at 11 am in the east coast of Gangwon, Yeongnam, Gwangju and Jeonnam.

Unlike the southern region, the central region is expected to continue to have a rainy season next week.

The rainy season will go up to North Korea from tomorrow, but the Meteorological Agency forecasts that rain will continue in the central region close to the rainy season next week.

In particular, the Korea Meteorological Administration forecasted that the rainy season front, which had climbed to the North Korean region, would come down again in the second half of next week and rain on the central and Honam regions.
