The taxi driver, who was accused of blocking an ambulance and leading to death of an emergency patient, was handed over to the prosecution in jail.

The Gangdong Police Station in Seoul said it was sent to prosecutors in the morning today (30th) in a prosecution opinion against Moe Choi, a taxi driver suspected of special assault and business interruption.

On the afternoon of the 8th of last month, Choi made an accidental contact with a private ambulance on the road near Godeok Station on Subway Line 5 in Gangdong-gu on the afternoon of the 8th of the month. (Patient) I am responsible if I die, and I am charged with blocking an ambulance for about 10 minutes.

The patient in the ambulance was transferred to another 119 ambulance, arrived at the emergency room, and was treated, but died around 9 o'clock that night.

The surviving family of the deceased patient is due to file a complaint today with the Gangdong Police Station to thoroughly investigate Choi's other charges.
