Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Investigation Team began a seizure search for Prosecutor Han Dong-hoon at the Yongin Branch of the Law Institute at about 10:30 am today (29th).

The investigative team said it had executed a warrant to seize and search USIM, a cell phone for a prosecutor issued on the 23rd.

Earlier, the investigation team reportedly confiscated a cell phone at a prosecutor's office on the 16th of last month, but the USIM was not secured.

However, when the prosecutor Han Dong-hoon was granted permission from the chief prosecutor Jeong Jin-woong, the investigative team leader who came to the scene, a fight fought in the process of unpacking the cell phone password to call the lawyer.

One prosecutor claimed that the chief prosecutor suddenly blew over the table, climbed over his body, grabbed his arms and shoulders, and pressed his face.

Prosecutor Han Dong-hoon said that chief prosecutor Jeong Jin-woong would sue the government for unilateral assault by public authorities.

He also claimed that the Seoul Central District Attorney at the scene, the investigators, and the staff of the Legal Research Institute witnessed the situation.

In response, the Seoul Central Prosecutor's Office insisted that Prosecutor Han Dong-hoon physically interfered with the legitimate seizure search, and that the chief prosecutor was overturned and received medical treatment at the hospital.

In addition, Prosecutor Han Dong-hoon insisted that the government's chief prosecutor was deterred by attempting to change the mobile phone information after the password was released.
