The new Samsung Galaxy Note 20 will be announced in a week and a half, but most of the details have already been leaked online. What is now known about the new smartphone?

It would be two or three models; at least a high-end device under the name Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G and the cheaper base model Samsung Galaxy Note 20, according to the generally well- versed WinFuture . The cheaper version can also be ordered with a 5G modem.

There may also be an intermediate model under the name Note 20 Plus, but there are different leaks contradict each other.

Bigger screen

WinFuture also reports that the amoled screen will be larger than the Galaxy Note 10, but slightly smaller than the Note 10+: 6.7 inches in the diagonal for the smallest model. The Note 20 Ultra 5G gets a screen of 6.9 inches.

The Note 20 has a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, the larger Ultra does it with 3200 x 1440 pixels. The Ultra's screen refresh rate, which should make scrolling smoother, goes up to 120Hz - double that of previous models. The 'regular' Note 20 does keep it at 60Hz.

The more expensive model has a bit more RAM with 12 GB ram than the cheaper version (8 GB). In terms of storage, the Note 20 can not be called generous. The base model gets 256 GB space, the Ultra can be upgraded to double.

The Ultra gets a 4,500 mAH battery, the cheaper model a little lighter at 4,300 mAH. Both can be charged halfway with a quick charger within thirty minutes.

A 108 megapixel camera for the Ultra

The phone has three cameras , according to WinFuture . The Ultra's main lens is a 108-megapixel sensor with two types of autofocus, dual-pixel and laser. They must be able to sharpen the image. Furthermore, this more expensive model has two 12 megapixel lenses for zoom (up to 50x) and ultra wide-angle shots.

The smaller model has to make do with a 64-megapixel telephoto lens and two 12-megapixel sensors, including the main camera and an ultra-wide-angle lens. The Note 20 has a plastic back and is not protected like a Ultra by a new Gorilla Glass 7 glass layer.

Collaboration with Xbox

According to WinFuture , Samsung wants to emphasize the new tablet with the new edition of the stylus pen, the S-Pen, which on the Ultra with 9 milliseconds has much less delay in operation. Owners of the cheaper model should do it in 26 milliseconds.

The collaboration with Microsoft's game streaming service xCloud must also become a unique point of sale for the tablet. This will allow users to stream a game directly to a monitor from a server without downloading or installing it.

The new tablet will probably be announced on August 5 at the Unpacked event and will then probably be available in Europe in the colors Mystic Bronze, Mystic Gray and Mystic Green.
