Like the recently controversial security screening staff, employees who joined before May 2017 will be hired directly after an absolute evaluation.

However, after May 2017, more than 60 firefighters and management positions were hired to go through open competition.

The controversy broke out as the construction team gave the re-examination opportunity to some of the existing firefighters who were eliminated from the physical fitness test during the public competition process of firefighters.

A total of 571 employees applied for general firefighters, and 207 passed the written test, of which 45 were firefighters.

Those who passed the written test took the physical fitness test from the 7th to the 10th of this month, and 7 out of 45 existing firefighters were eliminated.

However, the corporation decided to give three of the seven dropouts a chance to re-evaluate.

The fire brigade union objected to the question, saying that employees who are injured while on the job must take care of circumstances that are difficult to properly take a physical fitness test.

The construction is scheduled to be retested on them during the next month.

However, test takers who dropped out after applying for this open recruitment are raising concerns that giving reexamination opportunities only to existing firefighters is against equity.

One test taker said, "The physical fitness test is more difficult and important than the written test, so most applicants go to the academy to prepare for it." "It was criticized.
