A senior scientist at the WHO said the results came from research conducted in the country at a question-and-answer event conducted through social media.
He said that in some countries, it was 20%, but that this number had to reach 50-60% in order to have a collective immune effect.
In the early days of the Corona 19 pandemic, some countries chose collective immunity as a response strategy, but stressed that the immunity effect through vaccines was much safer.
