The company said that during the docking of Progress MS-15, "some deviations of the transport cargo ship relative to the target were indeed observed."

It is noted that “the control of the docking process was carried out by ground control personnel and the crew of the ISS Russian segment”.

“The deviations from the target were within the tolerance defined by the technical documentation for the rendezvous system,” said Roscosmos.

The state corporation reported that there was no need to switch to manual mode of docking control. Docking was carried out in automatic mode.

“At present, RSC Energia specialists are conducting a detailed analysis of the docking process and the operation of the rendezvous system,” the company added.

Earlier it was reported that the Progress MS-15 cargo spacecraft, launched from the Baikonur cosmodrome using the Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle, docked to the ISS.
