Renowned composer Dandi and Ahn Jun-min, who were accused of sexually assaulting a sleeping acquaintance's sister, were sentenced to probation in the first instance and released.

The 11th Criminal Justice Division of the Seoul Eastern District Court today (24th) sentenced Dandy, who had been tried for a rape, to two years, six months in prison and three years of probation.

They also ordered 160 hours of social service, 40 hours of sexual violence treatment programs, and 3 years of employment restrictions for children and youth-related institutions.

The court said, "The victim's right to self-determination was seriously violated by the crime." I pointed out.

He continued, "The defendant had no criminal record other than an abbreviated order, and he agreed with the victim to take into account that the victim no longer wants punishment."

In April of this year, Dandy was brought to court for charges of sexually assaulting an acquaintance's younger sister who was sleeping while drinking while visiting an acquaintance's home.

He denied the allegations in a police investigation, but the evidence submitted by the victim was said to have detected his DNA.
