"In one hand the submachine gun, in the other his saber"

The 38-year-old bouncer was chatting with a friend next to his car in a parking lot near the nightclub where he works when he saw the suspect arrive. This one, entirely dressed in camouflage, paintball mask on face, circulated on an overboard, a single electric wheel, a saber and a weapon in hand. He was heading towards an Evangelical Church, shouting "Allah Akhbar", according to the "hero".

"When I see that he is heading back to the church, I accelerate towards his direction," says Yves. "I come up behind his back and push him, so he falls off his overboard. He gets up, with the submachine gun in one hand and his saber in the other. He had slashed the front of my car, I push him back. with my car. "

The man falls again. "I get out of the car, with my foot I hit the machine gun," continues Yves. "There is a security guard who picks up the machine gun. (The suspect) wants to get up, he slaps him, he falls to the ground. There are security guards as well as people who are there to neutralize him. "

"I really saw the worst, I did the math in my head"

"I do not know what was in the head of this man, what he was going to do", analyzes the bouncer a posteriori. "But I really saw the worst, I did the math in my head, I said to myself: 'I'm going to try to neutralize it.' It's something normal. "

Presumably already seen in the area several hours before, around 3 am, the man was not stuck S and shows no sign of radicalization or mental illness, according to information collected by Europe 1. In addition to the saber and the semi-automatic rifle he was carrying during his arrest, investigators discovered two machine guns in his home. In custody for illegal possession of weapons, violence and threats with weapons, he will be deported to be tried in immediate appearance tomorrow or the day after tomorrow.
