Put innovation "made in France" in the spotlight
To promote "made in France", Digital InPulse strengthens ecosystems and local partnerships; and also helps French entrepreneurs to create international development opportunities. Companies can then make the most of the program, and over time. One of the 2017 winners, Histovery, is working on concrete touring projects in major Chinese cities. For its part, Cosmo Connected (2018 winner) has been able to capitalize on communication campaigns around Digital InPulse to increase its notoriety.
The theme of the 2020 edition is "App4Good": an exploration of applications for smartphones that help make our world a better place. Like today, more than two thirds of the world's population owns a smartphone, so make sure that this tool has a positive impact for everyone ... Hence the Tech4All digital inclusion strategy which concerns technology, applications and skills. Smart mobility applications reducing our carbon footprint, artificial intelligence-based applications helping deaf children learn to read ... innovative applications for a long-term positive impact will be at the heart of the 2020 edition.
Boosting territories and encouraging the development of French start-ups internationally
Our territories are full of possibilities, and Digital InPulse intends to give the chance to innovative territorial projects to shine on a regional, national and even international scale.
Partnerships are conducted at the local level to energize the territories. French Tech supports the program and is present in all cities, with for example H7 in Lyon, Euratechnologies in Lille ... Huawei also collaborates with strategic partners such as the Richelieu Committee which brings together SMEs for innovation and growth.
Beyond the French borders, Huawei, with its partner Business France, encourages the international development of French start-ups, in particular in China. One can thus think of AZOTH SYSTEMS which signed a contract with the Shanghai Salvage Bureau after its participation in Digital InPulse in 2016. Today, more than 200 French people are gathered within the French Tech in Shenzhen and Hong-Kong.
And the Digital InPulse adventure does not stop there, since the laureates have access to an Alumni Club to keep in touch, encourage exchanges, support and accelerate their development.
Digital InPulse is a unique program that has supported the excellence of French start-ups for seven years. Conducted in partnership with Business France, the Richelieu Committee and French Tech, this program is supported in the cities of Paris, Lyon, Lille, Bordeaux and Nice. To date, 60 start-ups have already been supported and accompanied in their development between France and China. By rewarding 2 laureates per city, selected by a jury of experts, the aim is to promote French know-how in terms of innovation and start-ups, and to help create opportunities for international development . The winners win a financial contribution, a business trip in the "Greater Bay Area" of southern China, individual support to integrate Huawei Mobile Services and a Huawei smartphone.
