Yesterday (16th) corona19 confirmed in Jeju Island during the holiday season. A woman who was confirmed in Seoul did not wear a mask properly, and even though she had symptoms, she stayed in Jeju a few days ago after eating antipyretic drugs.

This is a report from reporter Jung Gu-hee.

is a high school in Hallim-eup, Jeju-si.

The class was discontinued after 4 days of school attendance, and again after 59 days of commencement.

[Lee Seok-moon/ Superintendent of Jeju Island: The premise is that remote classes will be held until next Friday.]

All four confirmers contacted Mr. A, 70, who was confirmed on the 16th.

On the 9th, Mr. A, who came to Jeju to meet his family in Seoul, has had symptoms since the 11th.

However, it was found that he ate Jeju Island without eating antipyretic drugs and wearing a mask.

Two of the confirmers are A's family living in Jeju, and the other two are the sauna and teahouse staff visited by A.

Nearly 100 people have been diagnosed because they have been confirmed to have contacted confirmed persons, including Mr. A.

However, there is a lack of CCTV that can accurately identify the entrants' movements, making it difficult to identify additional contacts.

[Bae Jong-myeon/Jeju-do Infectious Disease Management Support Group: From the speed of propagation, the likelihood of community infection is very high.]

Concerns about the local economy hitting the peak summer season are also a concern.

After 55 years, the Hallim Folk Oil Market was temporarily closed for the first time.

Along with quarantine, Jeju Island's worries about how to quarantine travelers who are on vacation are growing.
