The school reported that a male university student in Busan reported sexual harassment against girls in a group chat room.

Busan A University said on the 14th, "We have confirmed the'sexual harassment dantokbang incidents' of the perpetrated students and held the Student Counseling Support Center and the University Sexual Ethics Committee four times to conduct an investigation."

On a social media page at Busan A University last month, a related photo was posted along with a claim that various sexual harassment and swear words about a particular girl went up and down in a mobile messenger group chat room.

According to the evidence, seven male students who participated in the chat room shared a picture of the female body secretly or talked out blindness and blatantly spoken out. In addition, some perpetrated students said to Dantokbang, "It's a big deal if it's really leaked because it's n room," and the name of the dantokbang was actually known as "Sbangbang."

According to an internal research conducted by the university, it was confirmed that the students gave and received 400 sexual harassment messages on A4 paper for about 20 days from the 2nd to the 22nd of last month. In addition, there have been only 4 girls who have been involved in the incident so far, receiving regular counseling with the help of the school, but still suffering mental distress.

While it is known that most of the perpetrators have had sexual conversations, the school is planning to determine the level of disciplinary punishment.
