Hands to mouth. This was the amusing reaction of Agnès Pannier-Runacher this Tuesday during the celebration of the French National Day when she forgot the mask in the car . The French Minister of Industry starred in a moment that has already gone viral when running after the vehicle to retrieve it: she got off and ran, but it was too late.

Cameras from BFMTV , a French private television network, captured the entire sequence. The minister realized it in a matter of seconds, but the official car had already started and was meters away.

However, the moment of tension was quickly resolved. A woman took an extra mask out of her bag and ran to Pannier to give it to him, ending her panicked face.

Atypical July 14

France celebrated this Tuesday, July 14, National Day to commemorate the Taking of the Bastille, quite atypical: a small-format parade , without spectators and with a mask.

Nothing to do with the parade last year, when a flying soldier appeared on the scene with a rifle in his hand and furrowing the Champs-Elysées to make visible the military force of France.
