Google Play Pass , the subscription service for mobile games with which Google wants to compete with Apple Arcade will arrive throughout this week to Spain and other countries in what is their first foray outside the United States.

The service, whose trial month is free, will cost 4.99 euros per month or 29.99 if an annual subscription is purchased (that is, in this case the monthly cost would be reduced by 50%). In addition to games there will be applications; all of them - "hundreds", says Google - without ads or purchases within the app, according to the company on its blog.

Between the games there will be both classic titles like Sonic the Hedgehog as well as recent ones (Levelhead) and more independent creations such as the successful Stardew Valley, Monument Valley or Terraria. In apps, the search engine highlights Photo Studio Pro. In any case, the list will be updated every month.

Play Pass will have its own tab within the Google app store, although all games and apps that are within the service can be found by performing a normal search. In this case, their availability in the service will be indicated with the Pass symbol.

The subscription can be shared with up to five people from the same family, who can use Play Pass individually. That is, a person downloading an application will not affect the experience of the rest.

Once Google Play Pass is available (it will happen throughout the week, although Google has not specified the exact time), to access it you will have to enter the Play Store and open the menu on the upper left, where you will find Play Pass .
