Of the 39 corona19 newly confirmed cases, 28 cases, excluding 11 cases in Korea, are examples of foreign inflows.

The incidence of domestic patients, which had declined to 20 last week, fell further to 10 this week.

While the outbreak of patients in the metropolitan area, Daejeon, and Gwangju has stabilized somewhat, as the inflow of foreign countries has steadily increased, the government has taken measures to strengthen further prevention of immigration to immigrants.

First of all, the target countries for strengthening quarantine control, which are required to submit a voice confirmation issued within 48 hours from the departure date, will be expanded from 4 countries to 20 countries from the 20th.

Currently, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan are the target countries, but it is highly likely that the Philippines and Uzbekistan will be added.

Entry procedures and quarantine measures for foreign sailors have also been strengthened, and visas must be issued even when entering by air for shift purposes.

Among these, the transfer period for the four high-risk facilities, such as a newly-designated high-risk facility, a buffet restaurant, a large academy, and a distribution center, ended last month.

Starting today, the government is taking administrative measures, such as corrective orders and prohibition of collection, for non-compliance facilities.
