In the southern region, strong rains pour and strong winds blow, causing houses to collapse and traffic accidents to cause casualties.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, more than 200 mm of water bombs poured from yesterday (12th) to 9 am today, including 236 mm in Jirisan (Sancheong, Gyeongnam) and 228 mm in latitude in Buan, Jeollabuk-do.

In Jeolla-do, Gunsan Seonyudo 190.5㎜, Jeonju 153.9㎜ Gwangju 143.6㎜ poured, and Chungcheong-do recorded 179㎜ in Yanghwa (Buyeo), 162.5㎜ in Mist (Nonsan), and 140㎜ in Daejeon 145.1㎜.

As of this morning in Gyeongnam, a very strong rain of around 30 mm per hour is pouring.

Strong winds are also in effect on the West Coast of Chungnam and the West Coast of Jeolla, Incheon (Ongjin) and the 5th of West Sea.

As the rain continued, accidents such as vinyl houses, houses, and houses were flooded and soil was lost.

In Jangseong, Jeollanam-do where there was a lot of rain during the night, a house was flooded around 2:50 am today.

The fire department drained about 6 tons of water using a drainage pump and recovered it.

Roads in front of an elementary school in Yongdong, Mokpo were also flooded, causing 9 tons of 34 tons of flood damage in Jeonnam alone.

In Gwangju, 7 cases of flood damage were reported, including 5 flooded houses, 1 sewage blockage, and 1 flooding of farm roads.


The damage continued even in Busan, where heavy rainfall accompanied by strong winds poured.

Today, around 1:24 am, the closed house near Eunseong Church in Nam-dong, the southern part of the West, collapsed.

There were no people inside, so there were no casualties.

A roadside tree on the road at the exit of Mandeok 1 tunnel in Mandeok-dong, Buk-gu fell, and a report was reported that a thick tree branch was blocking the road in front of Gwangnam Elementary School in Namcheon-dong, Suyeong-gu.

In addition, heavy rains have swollen the river, and Dongrae Coastal Bridge, Sebyeong Bridge, and Suyeon Bridge Underpass have been flooded and are now under control.

In Sancheong, South Gyeongsang Province, the rain over 140 mm has been lost since last night, and roads around Gyeongdong-myeon, Sancheong-dong, Gamseo-myeon (Gyeongseon-myeon) have been lost.

As the 30m high and 100m long soils spilled, the road was blocked by round-trip secondary.


Accidents involving human life were also endless.

At around 7:33 am today, five cars, including a 25t truck and Santa Fe, collided on the 5th lane at 362㎞, Gyeongbu Expressway, Wongok-myeon, Anseong-si, Gyeonggi-do.

The accident killed one Santa Fe driver and two others, including a lorry driver, were injured.

In the valley of Yongdugol, Sudong-gu, Suseong-gu, Daegu, A(64), who had descended, fell down 5m and died.

The location of the accident was found to be very slippery due to the wet surface of the rain.

Although there were no casualties, the passenger car was rescued by the fire department because of a flooded passenger car in Yeonjeong-dong, Gimje-si.

The Korea Meteorological Administration predicted that there will be strong rain on the southern regions and Jeju Island by noon, and on the southern coast of Gyeongnam and near Jiri Mountain by daytime.

An official from the Korea Meteorological Administration said, "Because the wind will be strong around the coast, please pay special attention to facility management and safety accidents caused by heavy rain and strong winds."
