rainy season fronts to the north, strong rain falls throughout the country. The heavy rains in Chungcheong and southern areas were flooded by houses and farms.

Today (13th), at around 3 o'clock in the morning, firefighters are shoveling water from the house yard in a house in Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do.


At 8 o'clock in the evening, a farm that raised ducks and geese was flooded in Buan-gun, Jeollabuk-do, and drainage was continued overnight.

At about 11:30 last night, there was an accident in a car in Gimje, Jeollabuk-do, that was passing over a flooded road.


The heavy rains poured into Honam and Chungcheong areas overnight caused flood damage in many places, followed by strong rain in the morning, followed by accidents.

Two men in their 70s who were working on a waterway were missing in Hamyang, South Gyeongsang Province at around 9:00 am today.

They are presumed to have been swept away by heavy rain.

There were also 371 trails in 13 national parks nationwide.

So far, there have been many rains such as 260mm on Jirisan and 228mm on Buan, Jeonbuk, and 189mm on Buyeo, Chungnam.

Currently, heavy rain warning is in effect in Yeongnam and heavy rain warning is in effect in Geoje.

By tomorrow, rains of up to 100mm on Yeongdong in Gangwon and on the east coast of Gyeongbuk, up to 80mm in Gyeongnam, and other nations including Seoul are expected to rain more than 10-50mm.
