Test Drive, Steel Rising, Werewolf: all the games announced during the Nacon keynote - Geeko

Nacon had organized an online event to introduce his new projects. The French publisher, formerly known as Big Ben, has brought together several prestigious development studios under its banner.

Steel Rising

The headliner of the event was of course the new project of the French studio Spiders - author of the very friendly Greedfall . Steel Rising will offer us to revisit the history of France in the skin of Aegis, an automaton which is also the bodyguard of Queen Marie-Antoinette, sent by her on a mission to investigate the overflows of loaded automatons of the king's protection. Ambitious, the game will offer us to revisit 19th century Paris, in a cyberpunk sauce. We are promised a fairly wide open-world that will allow us to explore the emblematic environments of Paris - some of which no longer exist today.

Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown

The second big announcement of the event was of course that of Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown , third episode of a series of open-world racing games created initially by Eden Games, whose new entry is now between the hands of KT Racing, the studio behind the latest WRCs and the V-Rally revival .

The developers promise a game experience close to the original with an open-world system on an island on which it will be possible to move freely, to buy properties and vehicles as desired. The game will always offer to customize his avatar, allowing the player to buy different luxury products to customize his appearance.

Roguebook

The Belgian studio Abrakam came to present their new creation, Roguebook , a rogue-like on the background of deck builder which will take place in the universe of its previous production:  Faeria . The creators of the game collaborated with a legend of the sector, Richard Garfield in person, the creator of Magic , who brought his know-how to the design of the gameplay.

As in all roguelikes, a death in Roguebook will be synonymous with a return to square one. The game universe will be procedurally generated. Each part will therefore be radically different from the previous one.

Werewolf

Cyanide was also there with a long-awaited project: the very bloody Werewolf: The Apocalypse , an action game with hints of beat them all that will offer us nothing more or less than playing as a werewolf. The game is expected on most media next February 4.

Note in passing that this was not the only game from the studio presented at Nacon Connect since the studio also came to show Rogue Lords , his other creation, a rogue-like with turn-based fights, in which the player embodies the devil himself. The title had however been presented a few weeks earlier at the PC Gaming Show.

A new partnership with Microsoft

Finally, we will briefly discuss a new partnership between Nacon and Microsoft, which will allow the French props maker to offer official Xbox accessories. We should therefore expect to see a weight competitor land at Microsoft's Elite controller in the coming months, Nacon having become one of the essential props in this segment on PlayStation.
