I told you a few days ago that a 3-year-old child who lived in a garbage-filled house was moved to a shelter by a neighbor's report. Today (8th), the ward office and the residents of the village went to the clean-up, and the garbage from the house is 8 tons.

Reporter Jung Joon-ho covered.

27 employees of Dongdaemun Ward Office in Seoul and 27 neighbors begin to clean up the garbage from the front door to the yard.

Odors vibrate because it was left for a long time because of all kinds of miscellaneous spills from waste paper and PET bottles to umbrellas.

Eight 1 tons of trucks are dumped for three hours.

[Child's maternal grandmother: (Wouldn't it be nice to clean?) Yes, that's right.] The

yard was full of trash, but now the trash has been removed and disinfection is complete.

The situation in the house was reported on the 2nd as a report of suspected child abuse in the neighborhood that a 3-year-old child was left in a pile of garbage.

Most of the garbage is known to have been brought by the child's grandmother.

[Hwangpan-gwan/Chairman of the area: We see it as trash, and since my grandmother judged it to be recycled, I had a little trouble convincing him.] The

child is currently living in a child care facility.

[Seung-Hwan Baek/Team Leader, Dongbu Children's Protection Agency, Seoul: Specially, there was no such thing as a trauma. I'm doing well with my peers. Psychological examinations and psychological treatments are planned.] The

child protection agency will decide whether to return the child to the home after judging the parenting attitude through family psychological counseling.

Separately, the police are investigating whether the child was neglected and abused against the family.
