Between 80 and 100 prototypes of the figurine were produced during the final phase of its development. The model was eventually abandoned due to the rocket, which posed a choking hazard for toddlers. The marketed version did not include a projectile. The prototypes were given to employees of the Kenner toy company. This figurine is therefore particularly rare. The current owner had spent $ 140,000 to acquire it in 2018.

Another copy of the prototype of the figurine was sold for the tidy sum of 185,000 dollars at auction last year. Today, the figurine offered on eBay displays the astronomical amount of $ 225,000 as a starting price. If the owner manages to resell it at this price, he could set a new record.
