The June update of Windows notably causes untimely reboots. - Geeko

Many Windows 10 users have complained after installing the latest operating system update. While patching 129 security vulnerabilities, Patch Tuesday in June also caused many problems, including restarting their computer after logging in.

Microsoft, the publisher of the operating system, acknowledged the problem on its website, explaining that the Local Security Authority Subsystem Service (LSASS) file - it is an executable essential for the proper functioning of Windows - could malfunction on some computers, forcing them to restart.

May update also criticized

The problem, which seems to affect primarily the 1809 and higher versions of Windows 10, would not date from June and this update, however. Indeed, users already complained of incongruous restarts of their machine at the end of May. Patch Tuesday in May was widely criticized for causing many problems, including the inability to print and refusal to access certain files on the hard drive.

In all cases, the Redmond company has indicated that it is actively working on a patch which will be delivered in a future update, the date of which has not been specified. It will most certainly be necessary to wait for the delivery of Patch Tuesday in July to obtain the fix.
