A five-year-old child was seriously injured Wednesday evening after being run over by a two-wheeled vehicle that was doing a rodeo in Vaulx-en-Velin, in the metropolis of Lyon and it did not stop, we learned from consistent sources. 

A 25-year-old man is in police custody after the collision which caused very serious injuries to a 5-year-old child during a motorcycle rodeo on Wednesday evening in Vaux-en-Velin. The suspect, who had fled, surrendered to the police at around 11 p.m. on Thursday, according to information gathered by Europe 1. He is very unfavorably known to the police.

Wednesday evening after the accident, he had been arrested on the spot by witnesses but an accomplice on a scooter had come to lend him a hand and had allowed him to free himself to flee.
