night (25th), a fire broke out at a factory in Gunsan Industrial Complex, and it has not been extinguished until now. It was difficult to catch the flames because of the waste that was piled up inside, but a similar thing happened in a nearby factory not long ago. Police are also investigating possible fires.

fiery flame comes out of the building.

The fire at an empty factory in the Gunsan National Industrial Complex was around 11:00 last night.

The fire is not completely extinguished after burning a plant.

It is because of the 1,500 tons of waste accumulated illegally.

As you can see, there are about 1,500 tons of waste accumulated in this way, so it takes a long time to evolve.

Fire officials believe it will take three days to extinguish the fire completely.

Last April, there was a fire in a nearby plant.

After all, 10,000 tons of waste was sneaked away.

Police are chasing Mr. A, 49, on charges of renting a factory and dumping waste.

By the way, Mr. A was also the one who dumped the waste into the fired factory.

Gunsan City ordered Mr. A to dispose of waste in January of this year.

But Mr. A went to sleep in April, and the fire broke out when the factory owner took responsibility for waste disposal.

Fire departments and police are also investigating the cause of the fire, leaving fire potential open.

[Han Chang-gyu/Director of Prevention and Safety Team of Gunsan Fire Department: Currently, the police are (investigation) to investigate. If there is a separate result after the investigation, I will announce it.] It

is illegal to use a factory in a national industrial complex as a waste warehouse.
