police have seized and searched two North Korean refugee groups that have been sending flyers to North Korea. Along with this, the police also began investigating the alleged assault by a representative of the Free North Korea Movement, Park Sang-hak, on the SBS reporters.

police seized and searched the North Korean Freedom Movement and the Big Sam office, a group of North Korean defectors led by Brother Park Sang-hak and Park Jeong-o.

The targets for seizure search are two representative mobile phones, automobiles, and two offices.

The police tried to start the seizure search around 8:00 in the morning, but the executions took place about two hours later when officials from the two groups confronted them to call for lawyers.

The Freedom of North Korea movement sent the North Korean flyer to North Korea, and Big Sam sent a bottle of rice to North Korea.

The police also plan to look into the process of fundraising by the two organizations through the analysis of seizures.

Mr. Park responded that it was an unfair investigation ignoring freedom of expression and said he would continue to send flyers to North Korea.
