Nine years of imprisonment in the first instance were sentenced to three Taekwondo prisoners who were handed over to the court for allegedly beating their opponents as a group for reasons of club disputes.

The Seoul Eastern District Court today sentenced three people, including Kim Tae-do, a 21-year-old Taekwondo college student who was indicted for murder, and nine years in prison.

The court said, "The defendants who have been practicing Taekwondo for a long time have been assaulted on victims who have stood for resistance," said "The crime is not very good."

Mr. Kim and others are accused of killing Victim A by assault on a victim near a club near Gwangjin-gu in early January.
