Ga-joo, who was recognized as a victim of the press federation case by the 2009 Reconciliation Committee.

Following Kim's son, who died three months ago, even a grandson is preparing a lawsuit against the country.

In a lawsuit filed by his father five years ago, the Supreme Court dismissed the claim because of the expiration of the statute of limitations in the civil law, saying, "I learned that I was a victim and did not file a claim within three years."

However, when the Supreme Court recently changed the precedent on the expiration of prescriptions in the lawsuits against victims of the Ulsan Press Federation, Mr. Kim again filed a lawsuit.

[Kim Min-gyu / Private victim survivor: (Father) has lived through the stigma of being a red child for the rest of his life. It doesn't make sense to apply only the statute of extinction prescribed by the Civil Code (I think it makes sense.)]

According to the statistics obtained by SBS, claims of damages by civilians who were recognized before and after the June 25th, among the total of 16,000572 Only 6,591 survivors filed for compensation.

Of these, 926 were dismissed, many of which were'lack of evidence' or'extinction of prescription'.

In addition, the amount of compensation for the 5,665 people for whom claims were accepted differed according to the court.

As a result, there were cases in which the state filed a lawsuit against the survivors to return some of the criminal reparations, and even for the first time as a civilian victim, one of the survivors' families who were convicted of retrial was sentenced to foreclosure.

[Household/Private victim survivors: Persecution for 70 years. What is this so that I will eat two years old and my father will die and eat 73 years old? (Judge) entered the Supreme Court in 2017, but still have some idea of acknowledging... .]

It is one of the tasks to be solved by the establishment of an equitable reparation standard for national violence and the new 2nd Truth Reconciliation Committee.
