A teenage runaway teenager boarded an aircraft using a boarding pass and identification card for a man in his 30s.

The Jeju National Police Agency's Airport Police said today (23) that the 14-year-old Group A passed the domestic departure screening pass by presenting the boarding pass and identification card of another person picked up at the airport around 1:45 PM on the 22nd.

The boarding pass and ID card picked up by Army A belonged to Mr. B, 33, who lost his wallet at the airport. As a teenager, group A passed through the search stand without any restraint even after showing 30 ID cards, and went through the barcode search of the airline to enter the plane.

Meanwhile, Mr. B picked up a copy of the resident registration from an unmanned ticketing machine and managed to reissue the boarding pass, and then boarded the aircraft just 1 minute after the group A boarded. Instead of sitting down, Army A hid in the bathroom, and the aircraft began to move to the runway to take off.

The fact that Mr. A and Mr. B doubled on a single ticket was revealed only when the flight attendants who were checking the cabin last found A in the bathroom. The captain, who was late, found the plane back with 195 passengers on board, and the departure time was delayed by more than an hour.
The Korea Airports Corporation's Jeju headquarters said that the group A, who had been reported to run away, passed the airport screening with an adult ID card. He emphasized that "I will go inside to investigate the cause and prevent recurrence," but the criticism of poor security is inevitable.

Air Busan, the airline carrying Group A, also admitted that it was not able to respond in time, even though it was possible to know that it was on board. Air Busan said, "When I checked the barcode just before boarding the aircraft, a duplicate bell rang in the course of Mr. A and B's boarding. At that time, the employee seemed to be mistaken for a simple error in the barcode."

The police apply for charges such as violations of the Aviation Security Law, the embezzlement of seizures, and business interruptions, to join the Army Group A and check the criminal behavior and in-flight entry process. An official from Jeju Airport said that an internal investigation into related incidents is currently underway, and that "we will take appropriate measures as soon as the results of the investigation come out."
