today's (20th) Daejeon, a lot of people were surprised because the smoke from the company making plastic bowls soared to a height of 200~300m. More than 300 firefighters were dispatched, so fortunately no one was hurt and the lights were turned off in 2 hours and 20 minutes.

Black smoke and red flames soar high in the sky.

Firefighter helicopters are used to sprinkle water, but flames are rarely caught.

A fire broke out at a plastic container manufacturer in Daehwa-dong 1st Industrial Complex, Daedeok-gu, Daejeon, around 2:19 pm.

The flames that began in the printed fabric warehouse with sandwich panels quickly moved to tent warehouses and public warehouses.

fire department issued the first level of response, an alert command issued by all the fire departments in the jurisdiction . We upgraded to the second level of response to mobilize all of them to evolve.

With 3 helicopters mobilized, 310 firefighting personnel, police, KEPCO, and gas safety construction were also put in to carry out the 2nd accident prevention activities.

As the black smoke soared to a height of 200-300m, 269 reports broke out in 119, and a disaster message was sent to Daejeon to warn of traffic congestion and safety accidents.

Of the 14 buildings in the factory, 4 buildings were burned on fire, and there was no great casualties in the wake of the big fire at 4:40 PM, 2 hours and 20 minutes later.

The police and fire departments plan to investigate the exact cause of the fire and the extent of the damage as soon as the balance is cleared.
