Prof. Yong-Ki Kim, a former Kyungnam University professor, said that the '88 Preparatory Study for Peaceful regime change', a long-term scenario of Chun Doo-Hwan, discovered in the United States in 2017, was delivered to the religious community and informed the world.

Professor Kim said at the 84th morning discussion lecture held at Masan YMCA in Gyeongnam on the 16th, "I delivered this scenario received from Professor Chung Nam University at the time of Jang Ha-jin, who was working with an academic organization in 1986, to the Korean Christian Church Council (KNCC)." .

"I thought that the only way to inform the world while protecting both those who received the document and those who received it was to deliver it to the religious community," he explained.

Professor Kim, who received the document, copied it to KNCC and returned the original to Professor Jang.

KNCC delivered the scenario to the American Christian Human Rights Organization.

The long-term dominance scenario of Chun Doo-hwan is a document produced by five people, including former president of Kyung-ho Jeong, Kyung-ho Jung and Yeonho Jang in 1984, during the military regime.

During the tenure, former President Chun Doo-hwan was reported to have instructed President Chung to write a long-term ruling scenario that contained the basic idea that he would take over as governor of the Democratic Party and that the successor would serve as vice-governor.

Professor Kim said, "The contents of the document would have been the basic framework for long-term power. Based on this, I think that many groups and intrigues were plotted and practiced to enjoy their power."

The May 18th Memorial Foundation secured and published this study in 2017 at the University of California, Los Angeles, East Asian Library.
