At the time of the Park Geun-hye administration, the Supreme Court confirmed 18 years in prison for Choi Soon-sil and Choi Seo-won, who were handed over to the court as the main culprit of the so-called state-run agricultural affairs. Supreme Court said in a reconsideration of Choi Seo-won, who was called'non-taxable tax' at the time of the Park Geun-hye administration, confirmed the centrifugal sentence of sentenced to a fine of 20 billion won and a fine of 6.2 billion won in 18 years in prison.

It has been three years and seven months since the prosecution indicted Choi in November 2016.

Choi did not appear in court today (11th) for hospital treatment, such as shoulder surgery.

Choi was accused of conspiring with former President Park Geun-hye and vice chairman Lee Jae-yong of Samsung Electronics for bribes for daughter Jung Yu-ra's horseback riding support charges and forcing 50 major companies to appear in the Mir and K Sports Foundation funds.

The first trial sentenced Choi to 20 years in prison and a fine of 18 billion won, but in the second trial, the amount of bribes increased to 20 billion won.

In the Supreme Court, the sentence was reduced to 18 years in prison at the destruction repatriation court held in February.

Regarding the situation of the National Agricultural Cooperatives, Mr. Choi recently issued a memoir and insisted that "President Park or I did not receive a bribe," and that the special prosecutor tried to tie me up with former President Park.

A centrifugal sentence for sentenced to four years in prison was also confirmed for former chief of economics Ahn Jong-beom, charged with Choi.
