Recently, an illegal shooting camera was found in the KBS women's bathroom, and it was controversial that the suspect surrendered late. In some cases, an English lecturer in her 30s who was found trying to illegally shoot while hiding in a woman's bathroom was arrested.

An urgent report was received that a man was hiding in a women's bathroom late last August in a shopping mall in Seoul. A man was hiding in the bathroom and secretly caught trying to take a picture next to him.

As the police analyzed CCTV and caught the man, he was an English instructor teaching students.

What was even more terrible was the film from the instructor's laptop and cell phone. Here was an illegal filming of the female body over 232 times over the course of two years from 2017.

Police were arrested in April, eight months after the investigation.

Earlier in May, an illegal shooting incident occurred in the bathroom in Masan, Changwon. The victim remembered the situation clearly and complained of suffering.

He said, "(I entered the women's bathroom) and locked the door, but there was a'squeaking' sound in the next door.

He said, "I was shooting with my phone upside down so that the camera came underneath." I bowed my head, but when I saw the camera, I was stuck in my head and it didn't disappear."

He confessed, "I have been to the mind and hospital twice."

On average, more than 6,400 illegal shooting crimes have been caught in the past five years. The recidivism rate is high, but the punishment level is low. Three out of four illegal shooting offenders reoffend, but last year's sentence rate was 12% and probation was half.

Three out of 10 victims of sexual crimes are responding passively, saying'it seems to be useless to report,' but it is necessary to build trust that investigative agencies and courts hold serious responsibilities for illegal shooting crimes.

How long do you have to worry about even going to the bathroom?
