In Cheongju, a sleeping ingredient was detected in milk that was passed for tasting by a woman in his 50s.

Three citizens who ate milk received hospital treatment, complaining of dizziness.

The Hungdeok Police Station said on the 4th that a milk sample, which A (52) gave to a woman in her 20s, for tasting, was sent to the National Institute of Scientific Investigation, and as a result, zolpidem, a sleeping drug, was detected.

Mr. A pretended to be a salesperson in front of an apartment complex in Heungdeok-gu around 11 am on the 2nd and recommended Mr. B to taste milk for tasting along with a health questionnaire.

When Mr. B did not drink milk, he followed the house and recommended milk again.

Mr. A came back to Mr. B's house around 3 pm on the same day, and at the same time recommended Mr. B and his younger brother who stayed at home.

After drinking milk, the brothers and sisters felt severe dizziness and received medical treatment at the hospital with help from the 119 paramedics around 5 pm.

On the same day, a woman in her 40s who passed through the apartment at about 1 pm was treated to hospital by drinking milk from Mr. A and showing similar symptoms.

Reported police arrested Mr. A the next day through closed circuit (CC) TV analysis.

Mr. A was found not to be a milk promotion worker.

The investigation revealed that he bought milk from a convenience store and put zolpidem directly.

However, it was said to be gibberish about pandemic motives.

Police say Mr. A has a history of sexual crimes.

A police official said, "When I go to a woman's house and look at the authority of milk containing sleeping pills, I believe that there is a sexual intention."

The police plan to apply for a warrant of arrest for Mr. A's violation of the Special Act on the Punishment of Sexual Violence Crimes, etc.
