In November 2014, the National Pension Service selected Company A as the 'IT outsourcing project' that conducts pension entrustment work online.

Three companies competed for a project worth KRW 10.7 billion, which was decided as Company A.

Kim Mo, a senior officer at the 3rd level of the Pension Corporation, who is in charge of the entire process from ordering to post-management of this project, started making explicit requests immediately after selecting a business operator.

According to the prosecution's investigation, in January 2015, Mr. B asked for a foreign travel expense from employee B of subsidiary company A.

It was found that Mr. Kim was looking for a travel expense to ask if he could send a trip to his wife with his wife at a bench in the Jamsil office building of the National Pension Service.

After reporting to the company, Mr. B received the passport information of Mr. Kim's couple and cut off a round trip ticket to Osaka, Japan for 1 million won.

Afterwards, Mr. Kim demanded that the car be leased for four years under the name of Mr. B, and took the Grandeur car with the company money.

This demand has been extended to subcontractors A and C.

In April 2015, Kim met with a representative from Company C and asked him to arrange an officetel around the headquarters of Jeonju National Pension, where he worked, and received a 54-pyeong officetel free of charge for about 20 months.

In 2016, it was reported that C received hospitality from Pattaya and Koh Samui to golf tourism.

Kim's move continued until December of the same year, when he was subject to an internal audit.

As a result of the investigation, the amount of bribery Mr. Kim received amounted to more than 27 million won.

The prosecution passed Mr. Kim on trial for bribery and sentenced him to three years in prison.
