The limitation has been removed. After trying to resist, Spotify finally gave in to the will of its users. It is now possible to like and have more than 10,000 songs in your library, reports  01Net this Wednesday.

Many users of the music streaming platform demanded a policy change regarding this limitation. Since 2014, this request was among the most supported in the suggestion box that Spotify offers on forums.

Still relevant for playlists

As a result, users will no longer see an error message when they want to add more than 10,000 songs or albums to their library.

However, the limit remains in place regarding playlists but also the number of tracks that can be downloaded locally in order to listen to them while being offline.
