An incumbent police officer was handed over to the court on charges of handing over crackdowns to a prostitute and receiving money in return.

The Seoul Northern District Prosecutor's Office has been charged with arresting police officer A (46) belonging to the Dongdaemun Police Station in Seoul for charges of secretary of duties, secret leaks in public affairs, and commissioned after fraud.

Inspector A has been accused of handing over the crackdown on sex trafficking to Mr. B for one year until February of this year, even though he has not been found in February last year, even after finding out the fact that B (39), the operator of the prostitution, was arrested.

Prosecutors also prosecuted Mr. B for prostitution and alleged bribery.

In addition, the prosecution preserved real estate, etc., so that Mr. B could not dispose of the property arbitrarily in order to recover crime income.

Mr. B has been accused of arranging sex trafficking at officetels in Jangan-dong, Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul for 5 years from 2015, and earning an unfair profit of about 900 million won.

Police officer C, who is accused of conspiring with Lieutenant A in the same police department, was also put on trial in disarmament.

Seoul's Dongdaemun Police Station imposed direct action on Inspector A on the 21st of last month.
