Three men suspected of having prostituted ten young girls, some of them minors, were indicted Friday evening by the Bobigny prosecution and imprisoned. Seven minors are among the 11 victims identified by the police.

"Procuring aggravated by an organized gang"

Judicial information, with referral to an investigating judge, was opened for "aggravated pimping in an organized gang", "criminal association" and "trafficking in human beings", said this judicial source, confirming information from the Parisian . The three men were placed in pre-trial detention. They were arrested in different cities of Seine-Saint-Denis and Val-d'Oise, as part of a long-term investigation, conducted by the departmental service of the judicial police of 93.

Minors among victims

"Eleven victims at this stage have been identified, four major and seven minor", the youngest being 16 years old, said this source close to the file. In February, a national pimping network which exploited at least 45 women, some of them minors, had been dismantled in Val-d'Oise after nine months of investigation. Young girls, psychologically vulnerable and socially disrupted, were recruited from among themselves on forums and, to leave the network, had to find a replacement.
