Health officials officially confirmed the virus analysis results of the corona19 confirmers in Korea reported by SBS yesterday (21st). health authorities analyzed the sequence of the virus detected in 142 Korean Corona19 patients.

Three major groups, A, B, and C, came out, and the same type C was detected in all 14 confirmed members of the Itaewon Club.

Type C, also called the G group, is a prevalent virus in Europe and the United States.

Based on the results of the analysis, health officials believe that Corona 19 from Itaewon Club is likely to have flowed from Europe or the United States.

[Jung Eun-Gyeong / Disease Management Headquarters: We believe that it is more likely that the

virus has spread to foreigners, especially from the United States or Europe, than from infections caused by viruses in Daegu and Gyeongbuk.] Was detected in Wohan Gyomin, and type B came from patients at Sincheonji Daegu Church and Cheongdo National University Hospital.

Viruses that did not fall into any group were detected by those who had contact with Japanese confirmers and those who were traveling to Singapore.

Health officials said further investigation and research are needed to determine whether there are differences in the transmission and pathogenicity of A, B, and C viruses.
