  • Covid-19.Twitter will display tags in tweets with unreliable information

Twiter has started testing a feature announced earlier this year that limits who can reply to a tweet .

The tool appears in the box where the message is written. By default, the option to allow responses from anyone will be checked, but by clicking on it, you can limit the people you follow or just the accounts you mention.

If any of the more restrictive options is selected, "the tweets will be tagged and the response icon will appear gray", the company explains in its blog, so that other people quickly detect that their response is not well received.

At the moment the option is not available for everyone and only some accounts can access the test (both iOS and Android and the web version), although the tweets they publish can be seen -and responded to, if they so choose. they want- for the rest of the users.

The selection of participants in the conversation has finally arrived without one of the options that were being considered in January, which gave the possibility of making a Statement that it would not have been possible to answer. In any case, if the plans are the same, the tool should reach all accounts before the end of the year.
