Today (17th), one worker who was working to replace the valve of a water pipe leaking from the basement of a road in Bupyeong, Incheon, was killed.

About 0:20 am today, a 62-year-old Lim Mo, who was welding a valve in a water pipe buried underground in a road near Bupyeong-gu Office Station in Incheon, was found dead.

The water pipe was an old pipe that was buried in 1986, and had a problem of leaking water.

At the time of the accident, Mr. Lim was replacing the plumbing valve to solve the problem of water leaking from the water pipe.

Incheon Water Facility Management Office and the fire department believe that there was an abnormality in the device that prevented water from entering the piping, so that the water quickly flooded, and that Mr. Lim was not able to avoid it and thought that there was an accident.

about 9:10 last night, a passenger car was invaded by a 16-ton cargo truck at the Jujin 2nd Bridge in Chubu Inland Expressway, Goesan-gun, Chungbuk.

Upon receiving the report, the 119 paramedics found Mr. A, a 44-year-old passenger car driver, crashed about 10m below the bridge and fell to the hospital. Mr. A was finally killed.

Police are investigating the cause of Mr. A's fall under the bridge, based on cargo truck driver statements.
