Prof. Kyung-Shim Jeong, the wife of former Minister of Justice, Homeland, came to the first trial after the release.

Professor Chung attended a follow-up trial held on the 14th at the hearing of the Seoul Central District Court Criminal Agreement 25-2 (Jim Seong-soo, Kwon Sung-soo, Kim Sun-hee, Deputy Judge).

Prof. Jeong arrived at the Seocho-dong Courthouse in Seoul by driving directly at 9:39 am, wearing a beige suit and an eye patch on one eye.

When asked about Professor Shim Kyung, he said, "Health is weak, but I will be faithful to the trial."

However, I didn't answer questions such as 'I'm saying that I'm against the public sentiment related to my child's entrance exam,' 'How would you tell me about the charges?'

It is the first time Professor Chung has been brought to court as an accused as a defendant.

The prosecution earlier asked the court to issue an additional warrant for arrest when Professor Chung's deadline was approaching, but the court refused to accept, saying, "There is no fear of escape and the likelihood of destruction of evidence is small."

Accordingly, Professor Chung was released on the morning of the 10th, only 199 days after his arrest.

At the trial, four newspapers are scheduled to be published, including a hotel official from Busan, where Professor Jo's daughter Jomo was internship, and Han In-seop, a professor at Seoul National University School of Law.

However, one professor submitted a reason for non-attendance to the court the day before.
