Preschool and elementary, middle, and high school classes were postponed for an additional week as the infection spread in the Corona 19 area around Seoul's Itaewon Club.

Deputy Minister of Education, Paik Beom Park, announced that he would hold a briefing at the Government Complex in Sejong on the afternoon of the 11th and postpone the start date of attending classes for each grade by one week.

The high school third grader's school class scheduled for 13 days was postponed to 20 days.

High school, middle school, 3rd, elementary 1st, 2nd, kindergarten school attendance was postponed to 27th, and high school 1st, middle school, 2nd, 3rd and 4th graders were delayed to 3rd June.

Middle school 1st and 5th to 6th graders will go to school on June 8th.

The schedule of attending classes for each school year announced by the Ministry of Education on the 4th was delayed for a week.

Subsequently, the Central Disaster Safety Response Headquarters (Company) ended 'Soccer Street' on the 6th and changed the Corona 19 countermeasure system to 'Street in Life' (Defense Prevention).

However, the situation changed when it was confirmed on the 7th that 'Yongin 66 Confirmer' visited several Itaewon clubs during the Golden Holiday.

A total of 86 confirmed candidates from Itaewon Club in four days until this day.

It was found that there were 63 direct visitors to the club, and 23 contacts such as the family, acquaintances, and colleagues of the direct visitors.

The possibility that the start date of school attendance by grade level may be postponed again next week cannot be ruled out.

The Ministry of Education announced that it would announce whether to postpone additional school attendance on the 20th of this month, considering the results of epidemiological investigations by the quarantine authorities.
