A man in his 50s was caught by the police who stole a woman taking a shower after climbing a villa on the second floor of a villa.

Today (7th), the Gwanak Police Station in Seoul announced that it had arrested Mr. A, who had fled while stealing a shower of a woman in her 20s through a window in a single room in Sillim-dong.

According to the police, Mr. A made a crime on the 23rd of last month by riding the city gas pipe installed on the wall of the building next to the villa where the woman lives, around 10 o'clock at night.

At the time, the victims did not notice at all, but a neighboring citizen witnessed Mr. A on a joint CCTV and shouted, "What are you doing there?"

The victim woman reported to the neighbors after Mr. A had fled and reported it to the police.

A police investigation revealed that Mr. A not only practiced the crime habitually, but also had a criminal record.

Experts said the current law stipulates that the provision of punishment by punishing A's crime as a sexual crime is not appropriate, and that it is highly likely that only simple housing infringement charges, such as the 'one-room village rape attempt' in May of last year, will be applied.

Mr. A admitted to committing the crime in a police investigation, but the warrant for arrest was reportedly dismissed by the court. Police are investigating Mr. A's conduct to see if there are any additional crimes.
