Waze will soon integrate a new feature, eagerly awaited and even requested by users of the navigation application. It is the display of multiple lanes in the form of icons at the top of the screen so that the driver knows where he should be placed so as not to miss an intersection on his route, explains a GeekTime article relayed by  01Net.  this Monday.

Already present on the main competitors of Waze, namely Apple Maps and Google Maps, this feature is currently only available for users based in Israel. And those responsible for the application have not yet communicated a date for the deployment of an update incorporating this addition in other countries.

A brighter path

The display of multiple lanes on Waze will therefore be presented at the top of the screen and the lane on which the driver must be positioned will be more lit than the others. Until now, the GPS application has been content with voice instructions on this subject. But, after the request of many users, the developers have therefore managed to integrate it.

It was the same with the addition of the price of tolls for a given route on the application. This long-awaited feature was finally implemented at the start of 2020 in France, 01Net recalls .
