Information security company ESET researchers have reported that they are looking into the Grandoreiro attacks, as part of an ongoing series of Trojan attacks on the banking sector in Latin America, targeting users in Brazil, Mexico and Peru. The attacks were distributed exclusively through malicious e-mail. ESET detected a Trojan attack hidden in videos on fake websites showing information about the Corona virus.
