The fire caught the strong wind and moved to the nearby mountains.
The fire department issued a “response level 2” at about 9:30 p.m. to fight the fire.
Gangwon-do said residents in Dowon-ri and Hakya-ri, Toseong-myeon, Goseong-gun, are evacuating.
